Preparation
Instead of racing down Kitzbühel's legendary Streif downhill, 1,000 participants race up it at night. The Speed class climbs the original line of 3.3 km and 860 m, including the Mausefalle; the Rucksack class is a fun category that bypasses the steepest pitches. Touring skis, snowshoes or spikes: any human-powered kit goes.
